Going out to have fun, partying, relaxing, and enjoying my last year of high school is what any senior has in mind. Not me. Graduating first of my class, obtaining enough scholarships to pay for my college for they are my only way to college, to excel in my leadership positions, and leave a trademark in the history of my school. That is me. Getting a job, buy a car, travel, and enjoy my freedom. Not me. Finishing college, obtaining my degree, higher my educational level, and try to make a difference in this world. That is me. When my short-term goals come to mind, I prioritize graduating first of my class and to obtain the scholarships that will give me the key to the world of higher level education to better myself. Both of my sisters struggled just like I did in my early years and yet they were able to succeed and graduate Valedictorians of their class. I have always taken pride on the way they overcame adversity and came out victorious in their goals. I did not want to fail my parents’ expectations, so starting my freshman year I knew the battle for the first rank started right there and then. Until this day I have not given up when other students are close to me in the rankings, instead I feel more motivated to continue going and prove myself that I can do it. Obtaining the scholarships to pay for my college is my only way to go to for my parents do not have the money to pay for it. When I wonder about my long-term goals graduating from Baylor University is always the prioritized goal. Just like I want o graduate top of my class I also want to graduate with honors from Baylor. I want top go into medical field and most probable into physical therapy, but math has always been my passion so I never know if I might end up as an engineer. Whichever career I life leads me too I know I will always go hard in order to excel at my profession. My short term goals
