I want to be able to have a good career and succeed in life. That means being able to support myself and my family. Having a decent job from going to college could change someone’s life. I want to be proud of myself for going to college. Throughout the years in high school I never really thought about my future until my senior year.
I finally had self- confidence and the drive to make the most of my career as I neared completion of Banker’s College. Finally completing bankers college only started a drive for personal interest in a full fledged college degree and a chance at a new dream that I one day would like to complete, my own day care. I returned to an online college in a degree program for Early Childhood so I could prove to my family that I could graduate with honors and receive a diploma and I did with an Associate’s Degree the proudest moment of my life. I now have the chance to do many things with my college degree as well as returning to college and adding to it to
When I was first asked this question, it intrigued me. I have always loved learning about everything and reading, so seeing people who have taken years off from school fathoms me. Because I love learning, I have always wanted to obtain my degree for personal development as well as having a higher education underneath my belt. I come from a low-income family, so they could not afford to send me to college when I graduated from high school. Besides my father, who passed away when I was young, if I complete my degree I would be the only one in my family to have a college degree.
Carla Wright My Return to School English Composition 1 Denya Cuiffo October 14, 2013 When we attend college as adults, we have expectations of what college will be or will not be. I decided to go back to school for quite a few reasons. The main factors for my returning to school includes my family and stability also plays big role in my returning to school. My reasons for going back to school is to gain communication skills, become a good role model for my children, if I decide to have any, gain independence and seek profitable employment that would be profitable for me. My father has always been my support system in my return to school.
Write a brief paragraph with at least three details to persuade your instructor that this is the best decision. My final choice would be to graduate early.Sure I wont have any free time but it will all pay off in the long run.I get to graduate a whole year earlier also while I am still 17. I am going to be the first in family to graduate early and go straight to college. I would love to achieve and wear that accomplish that goal. Graduating early should
It’s my last year in high school and I don’t want to regret anything, or wish I had done more a year from now. To do this I will have to try my hardest in everything and try to be a part of as much as I can. I want to have a good time senior year and don’t want to waste any of my time as a senior. To do this I will need to take part in almost all the school activities such as dance and rallies, as well as doing as much stuff as I can out of school. This is my last year in high school before I become an adult and I’m going to try my hardest to make no room for
I still have a passion for people and the subject matter that it involves. After shadowing some PA’s, I now have a greater sense of what the profession stands for and what one does in the profession, and it only makes me work harder towards my goal of having a long-term career as a physician assistant. There are so many other students around me that have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and I feel so lucky to know what I want to be when I “grow-up”, so to speak. I cannot picture myself doing anything else, and I can’t wait to move forward to achieve my goal of becoming a physician
The only thing stopping you is yourself. I want to be an example for my brothers, so they will see how important a college education is. As you sit back and take a look at the world today everything is mostly about technology so you know what that means you have to have more knowledge then just a high school diploma. So I’m going to do what I have to do make sure that everything I strive to do in life is successful. I mean you will never know what life has to offer you until you actually try to do something with
My final decision of all my changes was that I would return to school and get my doctorate in psychology. The path that I have chosen I know will not be an easy one, no one grows up saying, “When I am 30, I want to be a single mother and full time student.” But I do know that it will be the most gratifying journey of my life. Through all the personal changes I have made in these last few months going back to school will be one of the most satisfying for me in bettering myself. It is definitely a change that I will be taking full advantage of because at the end of the day this is the dream that I cannot let myself let
I have two younger brothers and two older sisters and although my sisters have created a comfortable lifestyle for themselves with just a high school education, I want to show my brothers how much further a college education can go. Also, both my parents have worked very hard throughout the years for my siblings and I, and I want to make them proud by being successful and showing them how much their love and support helped. With both of my sisters gone to live their own lives, I’m the oldest sibling still left at home with my brothers so it is important not to let them see me fail. Education is the key to life, so my parents say. It is the greatest backup plan when things go wrong and I completely agree with
