Returning Back to School I graduated back in 1984. While I was in high school, I had never thought about college because I was lead to believe that for me to go to college I had to have scholarships. So I decided that I will have to make do on what I can do for myself. Well back in 2000, a friend asked me why I haven’t decided to go back to school. She told me that I should seriously consider to think about what I can accomplish for myself and my children by returning back to school for a better career, so we talked about what possible careers that is good for me.

Connie McBride AC0707685 Writing Assessment EN110 Achieving Academic Excellence “Why College is Important to Me” Working menial jobs to get through high school really didn’t give me the push to jump right into college. I tried a few classes here and there and it was something that seemed to be a temporary thing to occupy time. I was young and didn’t realize what college was going to mean to my adulthood challenges. After finally accepting a full time job that could lead to a career for some time it became clear that college would have been a good choice for me to have been successful. I quickly began to attend college classes through my employer to make gains in my career and try to possibly secure my future.
Stability is one of the reasons why I chose to return to school because I would someday be able to help my father the way he helped me and my family for myself as well. When I first started Ashford University online degree program, I thought that it would be difficult and kind of strange that I waited so many years to decide to go back to school. However, then I realized there really was no reasons to feel
My son Kaleb was born May 24 2008, and from that moment on I wanted to give him everything he deserves. I tried to go back to college right after my son was born, but I had no idea what I wanted to do for my future and taking care of Kaleb wasn't cheap. I was constantly working to pay for the expenses of Kaleb, while paying for the rest of the expenses I had. Finally four years later, I made the best decision I could for my family and that was going back to school. One of the many reasons why I came back was that I did not was to continue being in a factory the rest of my life.
Earning my degree online would be great for me so I can still stay home with my children until they are school age. I learn and focus better at my
Everyone has a dream of what they would like to be when they grow up. Some dreams are far from attainable while others follow a road of hard work and dedication. Your career should be something you love to do, something you would happily do for thirty or forty years. My dream when I was young was to become a veterinarian so I could help animals which I loved very much. To become a veterinarian you have to be dedicated to your work, and also your education.
But still it just wasn't enough. As I began to look for jobs that could take care of me and my nephew I discovered that I need a degree. So I started checking out different schools and comparing the prices. Then I got off track, I put it off for a few years due to other personal issues I had going on. So, 3 years later here I am, attending Ashford University working on my BS degree in Social Science and enjoying it.
Returning to School Delphry Williams ENG 121 Stephanie Freese September 30, 2013 Returning to School I made the decision to return to school to further my education about young children, and children with special needs and to earn my Early Childhood Education Administration degree. The benefits that I will be obtaining from my college degree will be receiving better pay and to be in a better position to open my own childcare program one day. In the year of two thousand five I worked at a childcare center for the mentally ill. I worked there for almost twenty years before the owner decided to sale to another owner. The old owners were offering the people that were there the longest a bonus for each year that they had been there
