This project report was given to us based on our subject curriculum. Here in this project is well explanation about types of forest in Nepal and all its related integrals. Before going to learn about forest conservation we should know the meaning of forest.
A forest is best defined as an ecosystem or assemblage of ecosystems dominated by trees and other woody vegetation. A forest is something that resembles a large, dense growth of trees, as in density, quantity, or profusion. In other words, forests are the natural terrestrial ecosystems having multispecies dominant by multi-aged trees species. About 1/3 of world’s land surface is covered by forests. The forest ecosystems are world’s great natural renewable resources, constituting 90% of total biomass.
