FIVE SENTENCES ESSAY
FIRST AID

A first aid class should be included as a required course to graduate from elementary and high school. We all know that the main purpose of education is to create and develop in students the knowledge and skills to help them deal with any circumstance in their life. Accidents are part of our lives. For instance, a week ago, I was at work. It was time to go home and I was trying to finish all my tasks. I was so worried about getting everything ready before leaving that I did not take the precautions I should take when cleaning the floor. The mop I was using became entangled in a table legs. There was a big toaster on that table.   I pulled the mop hard and the toaster fell on my arm. It was very painful. I didn't know what to do. When I got home my mother helped me and cured my arm. Today my burn has healed. Every day we are faced with unexpected situations and misfortunes which we have no control and it is so important to be prepare. A basic course that teaches students how to respond effectively to common injuries and emergencies can be invaluable; if students know the basics of first aid they will be more confidents with themselves and will be able to help others in any emergency.
First aid is a very indispensable course that must be included in the mainstream curriculum of all elementary and high schools in the country.
