When my boyfriend Carlos and I want to eat great Mexican food we always go to our favorite Mexican Restaurant called Casa Mi Guadalajara. It’s known for the best Mexican dishes and drinks here in San Antonio Tx. The atmosphere in there its phenomenal the waitress are quick, with great attitude, and well never disagree with us. The enchiladas verdes al carbon is my favorite dish. The enchiladas are made with hand made corn tortillas, very thin shredded chicken breast, and top off with a spicy green sauce made of slice garlic, chopped jalapeno peppers, and a creamy guacamole. The plate also consists of two sides steam rice with corn and peas and the other is Charro Beans made with pork lard and Chicharron, which it stands for pork skin. Another extraordinary feature is when the main chef Roberto comes to our table and prepares fresh hand made guacamole. This feature is called “Guacamole Live” where I get to choose several different spices such as red onions, roman tomatoes, Habanero and Serrano Peppers. I enjoy this feature because it builds up my confidence on knowing what I’m being served. Although the food is delicious they also have the specialty of hand mixed drinks. The Paloma is one of the most traditional mixed drink enjoyed in Mexico. For the best Paloma, choose high quality blanco or reposado tequila, which will be perfectly complemented by the sweet grapefruit juice. I prefer my Paloma with Don Julio tequila because its not to strong or bold it gives the perfect balance between bittersweet taste. All of this sounds really magnificent but there is also an essential attribute that earns this restaurant my respect. The prices for lunch and dinner specials start at five dollars and ninety-nine cents, which makes them very affordable.
