The island includes everything from raging in anger Cyclops, inspiring mermaids, to the unique unicorns, a scorching dessert, swamplands filled with tame less crocodiles, and the view of the world’s most famous, Chili Bob Volcano. The amazing island was found by Elf settlers in 1492, lead by Captain Huggy Face. Captain Huggy Face sailed the rainbow ocean waters in search of a perfect paradise for his people to visit, none the less he found an island at fifteen degrees West and ninety degrees South, right in the Northeast Pacific Ocean.

The actual seawall is what makes this area unique. The seawall is covered with graffiti drawn by people who frequent the area. There are colorful pictures of smiling suns, dolphins jumping one by one, and an occasional saying of “I was here in 97”, posted by military members soon before they leave the island. I find it astonishing how artistic people are when drawing on the seawall. There are many stories that are told from all the drawings and congee writing.
“I’d be luckier if I didn’t have to sit through this car ride” I retorted before turning up my Walkman and slumping down in my seat to enjoy the “beautiful scenery”. I hated thinking about Prince Edward Island, I hated packing for the Island, and I especially hated driving to the Island. However, I completely despised everything about the Island, everything until I was there. Sun-kissed faces, glass pop bottles, my own room, and an ocean extending further than my ten-year-old eyes could see were all exciting features of this distant place. However, my favorite was the deep red sand that stretched for miles, serving as a barrier between the rumbling seas and dangerous cliffs.
I remember looking down into the water and seeing a crab nestled on a rock. There were Buskers playing piano accordions, and the music followed us as we walked down the boardwalk. It was the perfect day to visit the ocean for the first time. The city is surrounded by tall, thick, green trees; slowly changing color to yellow and orange. As a child, every fall, my parents would take me and my siblings camping.
Western Stereotypes of Hawaii I few years ago, during my junior year of high school I went on a trip to Washington, D.C. While on that trip I met a girl from Illinois who was so awed by the fact that I had come from Hawaii. She started asking me many questions about Hawaii. She asked if I lived in a grass hut or how large were the waves that I surfed because to her, everyone in Hawaii knew how to surf. She also asked if our Santa Clause comes in on a canoe wearing an Aloha Shirt and surf shorts.
Consequently, George got a lot of speeding tickets and had a boat load of money to pay off. In fact, he failed his first driver’s test for driving too fast. George never really cared about rules; he just loved the freedom of having a car (Newsmakers par. 9; Woog 20-21). He once recalled, “I had my own life once I had a car.
Have you ever walked into a restaurant expecting one thing and received the polar opposite? I experienced this myself with the Oyster Pub in sunny Daytona Beach Florida. The loud sports bar environment, which served peanuts from a barrel, was far from the beach-like seafood dining I had pictured. The Oyster Pub met very few of my expectations from atmosphere, to cleanliness, to food and service. This touristy Pub, located less then one-hundred yards from the Atlantic coast is an attention seeker to many.
If you want to visit a beach that is less of people-watching and more of amusement seeking, Santa Monica Pier is the perfect place to go. You don’t only get to experience the beautiful beach, but an exciting amusement park on the pier (Malloy). Phoenix has absolutely no beaches; matter of fact, Arizona has no beaches at all. In Arizona you can visit a private pool, and you will definitely want to in the desert heat; however, a swimming pool does not compare to the amazing beach and ocean. The closest thing to a beach in Arizona is the smelly and dirty lakes.
