In the two stories Leo Tolstoy wrote, Father Sergius and Master and Man, he explains how God is portrayed as the main source of power behind those stories. I would like to explain how the worship of God is the key component that is portrayed throughout those two novels and express how their worship to God allows them to both make the decisions that prove their devotion to God as the mighty power. Vasilii then begins to go through a spiritual revelation that he must be with God in the end. Vasilii then decides to lay on top of Nikita to keep him warm, in hoping that he survives; Nikita survives, but Vasilii does not. This explains
