A couple of year ago, my family took a trip to Denver, Colorado. The ride to Colorado was about sixteen hours of driving. We rode mostly through flat grass plains. We stopped to eat on the way at a beat up Burger King. When we walked in, you noticed the grimy floor and tables with white specs all over them. As we walked to the counter, the tall older lady took our order. I got chicken nuggets. They were very tender and spicy. After we left the Burger King, we finished the ride there. Once we entered Denver, I saw the snowy White Mountains in the background. The mountains seemed as if they would never end. We found our hotel in the busy city. Once we got settled in, we went down town to find a local restaurant. The streets were busy with life. The people were unique in their own way. I walked past a guy dressed like a cowboy. He had the cowboy jeans, hat, and a leather vest. Then I saw a girl no older than sixteen with piercing everywhere. She had a chain going from her ears to her shoes. Once we got to what looked like a beat up restaurant. We got in and the floors and tables were polished red oak. The waiters were dressed in casual clothes and very polite. Once we got seated and drinks, we ordered our food. I got a county fried steak and my mother got a BLT. We had been told that Tony’s, the place of the restaurant, gave you huge portions. When I got my country fried steak, it was gigantic. I was almost a foot in diameter covered in homemade gravy. My mom’s BLT sandwich had over a pound of bacon on it. The BLT could have fed five people. The drinks were tall round plastic cups with Tony written in big red letters. We finished our meal and headed back to the hotel to sleep. The next day we went to a family fun center. I was like a kid in a candy store here. There were so many arcade games and huge laser tag arena. When I went into the laser tag area I geared up
