If a person continues to deny what God has for them, then their lives will not be happy. “When we take things into our own hands, we have the feeling of being in control. But what or whom do we really control.” (Anderson, 2003, p. 281) There is one problem with someone who is rebellious. They will not want to hear any truths or be shown anything in their lives that they may need to work on. They may think that they are happy and that their lives are going along well, but they will soon find out that they are wrong.
He appears warm hearted and eager to end the conflict at first but then you see his real intentions and his real state of mind is focused on “what the people want” and not what is best for Romeo under the given circumstances of the families’ feud. He is materialistic. Tybalt, unlike Capulet, has no sense of discretion. It would be best to take Romeo aside and quietly tell him to be on his way. So far it appears to be that the Prince, Capulet, and Tybalt don’t know how to handle situations.
According to Confucian training, Shu Lien and Li Mu Bai would be disgracing Shu Lien’s fiancé if they got together. Shu Lien was unable to take the initiative in the matter of emotions and had to wait until Li Mu Bai brought up any discussion of romance between them. Although Li Mu Bai had feelings for Shu Lien, he worried of hurting his honor and integrity by starting a romance with her after her fiancé’s sacrifice. Shu Lien and Li Mu Bai desired each other, but destiny made all moments inopportune to discuss what they felt. It takes a certain level of discipline to restrain oneself from true love.
Interpersonal relationships could be hindered by our emotions, non-verbal expressions, and the way we would talk to our spouse. Speaking in the right tones towards our spouse will save arguments with our spouse. Conflict will happen, but figure out the ways to deal with the conflict is how a couple will stay together for life. Communication is a most in any relationship, no communication and each person will do his or her own thing. This will not be a healthy relationship.
It may be that you do not challenge discrimination often, that you do not feel that can challenge discrimination or that you do not recognise discrimination when it occurs around you. It might also be that you are afraid to challenge discrimination for some reason, or that you do not believe there is value in equal opportunities. Whatever the case, it is time you realise that discrimination against anyone hurts everyone. Until every person is guaranteed equality, no one is. Think on this the next time you observe discrimination taking place and ask yourself if you really want to sit back and let it happen.
FALSTAFF ‘Tis not due yet; I would be loath to pay him before his day. What need I be so forward with him that calls not on me? Well, ’tis no matter; honour pricks me on. Yea, but how if honour prick me off when I come on? how then?
I disagree that she didn’t discuss what he wanted to do and do it regardless how it was hurting her. She should have stayed on the doctors’ case about the prognosis. If they refused or were so uncertain about giving you answers, then she should have sort out other doctor’s opinion. I know she wonders did she do everything she could for her father. I say she was a good daughter that
Without saying a word, they may not ever come back. They also may return and just avoid the margarine altogether. Fear of conflict is a plausible explanation for a lack of complaints, but there still may be unsatisfied customers. The servers need to put out an extra effort to find out if silent, unsatisfied customers are leaving with no intention to return. Without having an honest conversation with the customers, their opinion cannot truly be known.
One would say that Lennie didn’t have to kill her, but then again, Lennie did not understand the situation or what was happening. One would also say that he did not have to take things that far but all he wanted to do was make her stop yelling at him. “Now don’t, I don’t want you to yell. You gonna get me in trouble,” is what he told her because all he wanted was for her to stay quiet (Steinbeck 91). He didn’t mean to kill her, but since Lennie does not understand certain things, he also does not know his own strength.
In his mind, he saw it, as she would not just put out for any guy easily. He is traumatized with the idea that Jane might have changed and he does not want to talk to her ‘“Jane Gallagher. Jesus.” I couldn’t get her off my mind. I really couldn’t. “I oughta go down and say hello to her, at least.” “Why the hell don’tcha, instead of keep saying it?” Stradlater said.
