The internet today can even allow you to be in a virtual world and in that world you can be anywhere at any given place and time.
Today, the meaning of communication has completely changed. It has become much easier to sustain a relationship through social media and the constant interaction that it provides. In contrast, social media can also prove to destroy relationships. Some people may get so caught up in virtual relationships that they have little to no regard for actual relationships. They may become so used to communicating via internet that they lose basic communication skills and can’t hold a face to face conversation.
Both users and nonusers of Carmex will potentially take the survey because Carmex will not know who they are sending the survey to. A disadvantage of this method is that many of the households will not respond because they do not care about taking a survey for Carmex. Thus, a lot of surveys will have to be sent out in order to receive the required amount of feedback. The other option discussed is an online survey of Carmex Facebook likers. An advantage of this is most of the feedback will come from devote Carmex users who want their opinion to be heard.

Every day more and more people from around the world are gaining access to a wide array of media like the internet, and the amount of time we spend on line increases as well, with our tablets and smart phones we are connected to the world 24 hours a day. Another disadvantage of Facebook’s privacy settings is that every time an update of the website is implemented, the individual security protocols that a user have in place revert back to the original default setting. With all of these updates being put into place, many users who do take the time to originally change their privacy settings are unaware that they have been changed, leaving them in the same position as a user who has never changed their settings to being with. This is a major problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible by the Facebook Corporation, because if it continues, more and more people will be at risk of having their personal information
