Millions of people around you are addicted to Facebook. Like Kristen Brakeman in "Finished with Facebook" was addicted to it, are you addicted also? Kristen had three major problems by being addicted to Facebook. These three problems were: not caring for her family, her work, and her home. Facebook totally took over her personal and business life. It was constant for her to be updating her status. She even wanted her husband to join Facebook, and she would be posting, "Kristen is trying to get her husband to join Facebook." Kristen also told here husband, "Come on honey, you should just join. There is no harm in it. And if you don’t like it you can always quit. All the kids are doing it." Kristen later on realized that she had an addiction problem, and wanted to quit it. She tried to make a group of people who were addicted also on Facebook, but knew that many other people had done a group like that also. So, she just evaded Facebook for a sort of time and continued with her life.
Facebook is far too much of an addiction to my family and friends. During family reunions my cousins, uncles, aunts, and siblings need to post what they are doing at that time. They also tag the people who they are with, and expect to get at least three to five likes on their status. They don’t realize that not everybody is interested in what they are doing or who they are with. In my family, everybody is always looking for Wi-Fi or trying to make the internet work on their phones. When I am with my friends they are always logged on to Facebook, and they don’t care if somebody else is with them. They are constantly updating their statuses letting the whole world know what they are doing and who they are doing it with. By two thousand twelve, Facebook has become people’s major priority. If people can’t log on to Facebook they simple go crazy. It is a fact that Facebook took over many peoples life.
