(Serving On Social-Networks) Evangelism Vision Paper Submitted to William Brown In Partial Fulfillment Of the Requirements for the Course Contemporary Evangelism EVAN 565 By Jacqueline Jones 6 July 2012 Introduction According to Rom. 8:28, God makes all circumstances and situations good in the lives of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Social networks, though somewhat evil in the hands of the addicted, can serve a purpose that fits within God’s purpose if used under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Up to the point of taking this class, I have been vehemently opposed to Social Networks. For me, they were such a waste of time and energy that could be used or spent with things or people in a much more worthy and valuable manner. Since this class and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have decided to utilize several different social networks to start a “world changing” network to enhance and further my evangelistic ideas, as an accountability tool for my personal evangelism, as a tool for sharing, equipping and gaining servant evangelism partners, as tools for ministry work with the youth at my church, as well as encourage and pray for missionaries across the world. God has shown me a vision for the use of social networks that is good, decent and in order with His purpose. Knowledge From this class, the knowledge that I have gained in this class is not only priceless but everlasting. Each of the books holds a wealth of knowledge and each have served a different purpose during these last eight weeks. Evangelism Is by Earley and Wheeler has taught me the motive, meaning, manner and method of evangelism. This is my resource for reminding me that evangelism is not just about missionaries or those gifted by God. Evangelism is or at least should be my way of life. When I need
