To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life. A new door in life allows for new opportunities, which allows for personal growth, which results in ones successes in life. To be successful one must discover who they are as a person and whether or not they make decisions based on their race or on being comfortable with hard physical labor and very little
Honesty builds trust with the people who follow leadership. Integrity keeps me honest. It pushes me further and further every day so everyday will be a challenge. My respect is earned by showing me you have what it takes to be the best. I should earn yours the same way.
Respecting others is an attitude. It is always very important to show respect to one another like the Modoc and Onondaga tribes showed on their book. People always have different opinions and everyone has to respect that. Sometimes when people don’t value their family they end up learning how to value them the hard way that means having to pass through a hard time first to then realize how important it is to respect others. The reason why people study mythology varies a lot, they usually find logic, inspiration or a moral lesson in these myths or simply because it is part of the historical culture of their
It is important to deal with people with respect for their abilities, personal space. But communication can also be used in the wrong way for example sarcasm, gossip. It must always be correct communication with the correct and factually truths, for it to be received and understood. After all we would expect no less ourselves. Just talking to your team on a daily basically makes all the difference, the team feel wanted and needed.
4.4 Explain the changes required to improve the quality of an individual’s participation to promote independence, informed choice and a valued life; I always encourage the individual to do things for themselves instead of me doing it for them I find out the individuals likes and dislikes so I can encourage them to participate in activities that they enjoy. I always explain the individual’s choice to them in a way that they understand; this enables them to make an informed
It says that I care about safety and security of people I love, such as family members, friends and others. It is very true since I would love to get things done as much as possible for them, and make sure that everything runs smoothly in their daily lives. I would spend my whole day doing things for a person without the need of anything in return. Even though I make myself feel that I am stupid, I always want to do over and over again for people in order to help them whenever they need me. I love to take responsibility when people can rely on me; thus whenever I could not accomplish it, I blame it on myself.
I learned humility through life struggles that have shown me that people who are arrogant and boastful aren’t really liked. I am a caring person I care for everyone and want to see the best out of everyone. If there is anything I can do to help someone be a better person than they already are I will do so. Caring for other people just seems to come natural to me. I learned to stay strong and never allow my fear to limit me.
We were all taught that if we strive for what we seek, we eventually will succeed. The JROTC program showed me leadership, better communication skills, and being loyal and patriotic. Though it was a scary experience in the beginning, I eventually met my expectations. It also showed me that we sometimes think negatively about some things because we may not know where it might lead us. The quote, “Don’t let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game,” is what spurred me to continue in this program without fearing anything, until I was able to achieve success.
You have control and the ability to push yourself and stay motivated. Staying on track and staying focused. Being able to live self- disciplined all the time is impractical, but we need to always be disciplined when it comes to our job as a paramedic. Respect returned is respect given. When we say or do things without thinking that shows lack of self-discipline but also immaturity.
In life, it is important to set goals. Many people set their goals high to challenge themselves, while others set them low so they can at least say they accomplished something. Having goals can keep you on the right track to accomplishing them, and set your mind on something. If you didn't set your goals, your life will have no challenge. Every time you set a goal, you’re not just going to blow it off; you’re going to work hard to accomplish that goal.
