Values are what you want and need to achieve the goals you set for yourself and your family. Values can be obtained in many different ways. The most important piece for building values is your family. I am responsible as a mother for teaching my children what is right or wrong before, any other influence reaches them. I can only wish that what I have already instilled in my two children is a reflection of myself as a parent.
This commitment models the expectations for the staff and proves that I, as a principal, must strive to create a school culture that has a positive influence on life and learning in my school. The entire thought of developing successful learning communities in my school is a great challenge. I realize that I have much to learn and everything will not happen as quickly as needed. Change is never an easy process, but as I strive to build on the positive and eradiate the negative my focus will be to have a highly effective school with highly effective teachers. I found great value in
His aunt and the congregation want him to go up and get saved, be obedient and step up to the pulpit. What is the meaning of being “saved” in a young Langston mind? He state’s “So I decided that maybe to save further trouble, I’d better lie, too, and say that Jesus Had come, and get up and be saved”. (198) Can we say that young Langston, at this moment, over looks his own beliefs, so he can meet the expectations of the congregation. Langston loses his faith because of how Auntie Reed tells him that “when you were saved you saw a light, and something happened to you inside” (197).
This is how Emerson sees consistency; he is very much against it and looks down upon those who do not change their minds. Honesty has a lot to do with the consistency part of Emerson’s piece. Many people may be afraid to be inconsistent because they fear others will fear they are being dishonest. They have an opinion on something one day, and then the next it is changed. Some can see this as being dishonest and many people in society fear this.
I am a natural leader of people. When in doubt, I will not hesitate to get advice because failure is not an option to me. Some of the challenges that I will be faced with will be how to juggle a full time job, family and schooling. The reason for going back to school is not only to further my education for future work but also to be more proficient in assisting my children with their schoolwork. Technology has progressed to a point where I feel that I need do something to help me keep pace with the changing world.
For example, the most effective method would be, to respect the students and their feelings before they can respect you. Dr. Michaels stated that, “You will gain respect by knowing the emotional, physical, and psychological place of your students. “Show that you care.” This all leads back to students wanting to know that their teacher not only cares about their education but them as an individual. As an after school instructor, I have dealt with many cases where a students didn’t feel like they had to show me respect right off the bat. Which is something that I can understand, because children don’t really comprehend the importance of respect or manners, its something that has to be taught to them.

Repentance, is not merely feeling sorry for sin. A person may feel truly remorseful for their critical spirit, greed, or anger. As important as it is to feel the weight of our sin, these emotions are not repentance. In fact, if we accept tears as repentance, then we can actually obstruct the person from doing the really hard work of change. Reverend Dimmesdale tried really hard to change in order to feel penitent while Hester didn't try and make a change even after she was publically punished.
We could make more effective plans for their care and education whilst monitoring there welfare to show their skills and ideas. It is always important to have positive relationships because if we didn't there could be a danger that information could be withheld or passed on incorrectly this could result in the child not being given the support they require ending up in a delayed development . In our setting we must always create a good working relationship as it benefits all children and everyone involved, good relationships always create a positive environment where children can settle and relax easily. If we can build good relationships with every parent this is always a positive thing as parents will share information easier and take an interest in what their child is learning. It always helps to have good positive relationships with all staff as we can support each other and enjoy our
Forced Religion At some point in time everyone in society has overlooked his or her personal feelings to conform. People may believe strongly in an idea or thought, but will overlook that belief to be obedient. Is lying about something important really the best way to go? In this short writing by Langston Hughes it described how pressure from adults on innocent children can have a negative lasting effect. Langston Hughes in, “Salvation”, described how he, a young innocent boy, was pressured by his peers and elders so much that he lied about his faith.
