A teacher with high expectations for his or herself will ultimately pass that quality on to their students. Caring comes naturally for great teachers. When a teacher genuinely cares for the students entrusted to them, they are able to reach them with greater ease. Great teachers make their classroom a place where caring is the norm. In a climate of care, students are more inclined to take up for each other, protect each other, and teach others how to care.
I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others. although I wouldn't trade my parents for the world, if I had to select an alternate pair I would pick Clara Barton and Fredrick Douglas as my parents, because they share the same core values that my parents have thought me. The bravery and compassion Clara Barton demonstrated as humanitarian are characteristics that I would value in a mother. Fredrick Douglas's courage and strength are qualities that I admire in a father figure. These two remarkable individuals would service great role models for me as parents, which is why I choose them.

Common Core: Should We Pass It or Trash It? If you are a parent, then you know what I mean when I say that our children are our pride and joy. We put so much love and effort into their primary development, and try hard to teach and guide them in the ways we think best. So when it comes time to send our precious little-ones to their first day of school, wouldn’t we want those same goals in their academic education? If you are like most parents, there would be no other answer in your mind than “Yes”.
I used the techniques my parents taught me, and that their parents taught them and put it into consideration while raising Zara and Samia. From what I believe I was a very warm parent. But based off of the evaluations, I was told that compared to other parents I was more strict. My parenting I believe helped Zara turn into the young adult she is today. My warm and (according to virtual child) strict parenting help mold Zara into I believe would be the best example of a child any parent would want.
According to the authors, millennial students were influenced by a unique set of culture, such as hard work, supportive parents who desire the best for their future. Then when I studied and got a good grade I was like “wow, I can do this” and felt a beam of confidence that I could do it for other classes as well. Adapting to the schoolwork is a big part of having confidence in the classroom because you understand what is being taught. Gatto said “schools are establish fixed habits of relation to authority. This of course, precludes critical judgement completely.”(152). Gatto is saying that schooling is made for kids to adapt to; it has adaptive qualities, therefore there is a chance for everyone to succeed if they really want to, but it takes away from any individual thinking.
We could make more effective plans for their care and education whilst monitoring there welfare to show their skills and ideas. It is always important to have positive relationships because if we didn't there could be a danger that information could be withheld or passed on incorrectly this could result in the child not being given the support they require ending up in a delayed development . In our setting we must always create a good working relationship as it benefits all children and everyone involved, good relationships always create a positive environment where children can settle and relax easily.
