There is much to consider in Bloom’s Taxonomy that we do every day in our professions without realizing. “In nearly any circumstance in which an instructor wishes to move a group of students through a learning process using an organized framework, Bloom’s Taxonomy has proven to be invaluable” (Bouchard, 2011, p.1). The lessons and techniques that this article have provided me will be very beneficial. I have recommended this article to my boss, some of my peers, my wife and even my children. If we cannot grasp every moment, we are losing time. It is up to us to decide what “the moment” is, but no matter what it means to each person, I recommend that they not lose it. Because my belief is that the stronger the connection is in between me and my employees will assure them that I care just as much about them as I would about the numbers. This will inevitably promote more work flow and a more positive work atmosphere making any workplace drama less likely to arise. Step six set up counseling sessions for anyone who has been previously harassed, abused, discriminated against or has experienced some form of trauma that of which has somewhat hinder their work performance such as a death of someone close to him or her. No matter what the situation is these sessions are open to everyone. Steps seven remove any employee whether it is someone who working part- time, full- time or is part of the management team promoting some form of discrimination.
Emotional support for Mr. Thomas may help with his depression, and make him feel better about caring for his wife during her illness. Emotional support for their two children may help encourage more time spent with the whole family, and hopefully getting all of the family members more comfortable with the disease process that really effects every member of the family, not just Mrs. Thomas. The second strategy is to provide medication teaching for Mrs. Thomas. With end-of-life medications, there can be a lot, and it can be very confusing and quickly become overwhelming. We have seen the toll that it takes of their lives. We are hoping that with this study we might be able to improve their quality of live by reducing the affects of hypertension through an enjoyable program. We want to create a program that can form a new active lifestyle for hypertensive people which will benefit them long after the study is completed. LITERATURE REVIEW In the American Journal of Hypertension a study was conducted to determine the relationship between different types of physical activity and cardiovascular risk among hypertensive subjects. They wanted to determine the correlation of daily work activities, regular exercising and regular physical leisure time activities can have a noticeable impact in reducing cardiovascular risk.
