Eliminating Crime in Society Crime, it’s everywhere in this world whether you live in the United States of America, Canada, etc. It is virtually impossible to get rid of all crime in society. There is no quick solution to get rid of all crime. To get rid of crime would be to get rid of worry in millions of people’s mind. If society were more advanced, there could be a lot of projects, programs, and a more advanced law system that could prove if someone was guilty or innocent right away. I will be listing some changes to the law system that we could make, and some reforms that could potentially get rid of crime. First off, guns. In Canada, guns are illegal to have in public. That being said, anyone with a gun is noted as extremely dangerous. If guns were legal to carry around in public, Canada would be a much different place. Let’s connect this point with the stock market. Imagine the stock market crashing, now imagine a criminal that is armed. What do these two have in common? The fact that, they’re both in the red. Now, imagine the stock market is fine, and everyone is armed with a gun. They are both in the “black” (which is good for a stock market). This is because, if you put more resources in one place, it will dispose of some of the crime. There would be rules though, such as signs and warnings like “Students are armed”, if it’s a school. A person who is against guns could say that the streets would become a more dangerous place, and more frightening. In reality, it would become a safer place. Since everyone has a gun, a criminal is less likely to attack anyone in public. More frightening streets can also be a good thing; you will always expect someone to be armed. Now, some people may think “why not just get rid of all the guns in the first place?” This would make society worse in my opinion, as the crime rate involving arms
