Effects of Technology Try imagining your life without technology. Imagine yourself without alarm clocks, refrigerators, computers, telephones and so on. It would be completely different from what we are accustomed to today. The truth is, all of us rely on technology a great deal to get through the day. Whether it's at work, at home, or at school, I know my family depends greatly on technology. Without technology our lives would all be much different. Nowadays, society fails to realize that technology shapes our society and has both positive and negative effects. That individual doesn’t realize that the only reason why he/she had to slam on his/her breaks is because he/she was not paying attention to the task at hand and that’s paying attention to the road. These individuals can’t seem to see themselves without technology, but I’d rather live without it than fail in class or possibly die or get hurt because of it. Not only, can technology distract an individual but it can also affect one as a person because he/she may rely on it too much. For example, students rely on the internet for school instead of reading the book
