During that time radio and television allowed government to move information quickly and use of the media assisted in acquiring public support and purchasing war bonds. Many of the footage from the time would not be released until 1970s. The next major step in mass media revolution is the cold war. This is when we first started seeing commercials on a larger scale, and attainment shows like MacGyver and the Mission Impossible were created.

It has assisted us in changing the way that we communicate with one another over the years. Television has been one of the biggest influences in my opinion. It has been in our homes over 60 years and many Americans rely on it on a daily basis. It gives us access to the news that is happening around the world.
What this does is show how football is more about advertising than actually moving the ball as Jean Kilbourne says(336). So in the next paragraph the author goes into talking about the four largest television programs that viewers watch. What this does is analyze the biggest events for both men and female viewers by targeting them with ads. Jean goes into saying that magazines, newspapers, and radio and television programs round us up and sales us to advertisement, Jean Kilbourne (336). What this does is rounds people up to be sold out to advertisement.
Websites have video on them and the Internet is an important part of the offer of most broadcasters. Computers and network technology has allowed television to offer "video on demand" services moving away from traditional "linear" or scheduled television. Equally the Internet has become important for newspaper publishers. Newspaper has been a dying format for years - it is very difficult to compete with newer media that gives news up to the second when you present yesterday's news tomorrow on a sheet of paper.
