Education Playing a Role in Society

Being educated helps a person out in many different ways throughout one’s life. Each day you end up learning or being taught something new, which can end up helping you out now or later in life. The quality of education opens up countless different opportunities. A person with a great formal education enables them to obtain a more variety in job opportunities, and ultimately a better lifestyle. However, there is not just one type of education; there are multiple different types aside from the standard “book smart.” Education develops a meaningful outlook on one’s life, and also impacts society. Society is a group of people that are living specific region that have shared the same laws, organizations, and customs. Ultimately, being educated benefits someone personally, and the society because it sets a good example for younger siblings and other family members by leading them in the right way, and also for black American women to be able to separate themselves from the stereotype of a “loud and ignorant” and contribute to the society in a positive way. To begin, having an education in a family matters to society because that is when a person transitions into someone that can contribute positively in the society. Parents play a big role in a family because they are the primary example in their children’s view on values of life, how to love, how to give and receive respect, and how to strive and make it on their own in life. They set good examples and leadership, by having jobs of their own and supplying their kids and significant other. Children look up to their parents consciously and subconsciously therefore, if the parents are well educated and good abiding citizens of society, their children will too.
