Those parents have to stay vigorously involved in schooling their kids. Surely the obligation to ensure our nation’s future must be shared also by those who don’t have children in the public schools. Those people who should take an interest in the students that will eventually be stepping into the workforce. They should be developing work-study groups, internships and job placement banks that they can recruit and develop to be successful. Evidently, the tasks of educating our children nowadays are a lot more difficult than simple examinations and easy solutions.
Receiving a high school diploma may not always mean hard work and dedication on behave of the student who receives it. Sherry states, “Tens of thousands of 18-year-olds will graduate this year and be handed meaningless diplomas. These diplomas won’t look any different from those awarded their luckier classmates.” Students who do not wish to devote time and effort into to their high education can simply just do enough work to get by and others may even choose to not try at all and yet still manage to graduate. Students will stop with these choices once they become aware that flunking will be their fate if they do not change their habits very quickly. They will feel the pressure and possibility of not graduating, which will have a great impact on them.
If there are people not pursuing an education then how will they gain leadership and set an example for everyone else to do the same in their social class. Another thing that is essential is that fist we need to help ourselves rather than looking for help. The people in poverty need to strive for college education and leadership individually. Having leaders is a necessity to balance out and fix the negatives of income stratification and educational stratification for the better future of this country. Herbert supports this thought stating “I don’t think Mr. Vander Ark was engaging in hyperbole.
Bloom has a vision for the modern student. This vision is for the modern student to be wrapped and crushed under the weight of enlightenment and revelation through education. His vision is somewhat blocked from him unfortunately, and might never see it fulfilled. The behemoth that is blocking his vision is the current universal model for educating students, and getting them to their specialization faster. Bloom has problems with the modern university system and how they are teaching the modern student.
That parents stress to children the importance of education all their school lives, but they continue to give money things that are less important, instead they should put money towards the teachers who wants to help make a difference in every child's life. Barber believes that parents should actually display their actions that they care and value their education. He explains who are to blame for the lack of quality education in America. The generations before the young and the government have a partial blame in why the school system is failing. Barber's argument is more superior, because he takes the sociopolitical context of education in to account, where as Henry does not.
This is what motivated me to want to change myself and become a better person before it was too late. I started getting good grades in school and realized what I needed to do my best to get away and experience life outside of my community. My family is the reason why I want to help people. I think that if the right people were in place when my family has made this life changing decision they wouldn’t have slipped up so bad. I see a lot of people that have a lot of talent to reach new heights but they allow childish ways and mistakes keep them from reaching their full potential.
I believe this shaped his work. I would love to copy his ambitions for education ,but i would also like to be as successful as he is. The reason is that at the point i am in my life i want to know that i will be a success in life and not a failure. I know that in order to succeed, you have to fail, to make mistakes. But knowing i am failing all the time, it hurts alot.

Currently, many teachers are required to pull money out of their own pocket just to acquire the materials needed for their class to finish the curriculum. These teachers are being barred from a right to think freely about how their students think because of budgeting. The only way to improve education standards in the U.S. is to show the proper respect to it, both socially and out of our
