Eating in and eating out Food is an essential part of our daily life. However society has changed the way it views the options of eating a home cooked meal vs going out to a restaurant. People are getting busier with work and various activities and have less time to cook. It forces some people to change their food options. Some people enjoy eating meals at home and others prefer eating out at restaurants. First, preparing food at home allows a person to control the ingredients that are being added to the dish, to ensure proper cleansing procedures of food and dishes to prevent sickness. However, restaurant dishes often contain high sodium, oil and cause high cholesterol, which is unhealthy. Eating food prepared at home will help prevent the intake of extra salt or oil from the food eaten in a restaurant. Second, eating at home instead of at a restaurant every day enables a person to cut down on their budget and save more money. For convenience, people eat out they do not worry about buying ingredients, or cleaning the dishes after the meals. However, they have to pay some fees for the restaurants in order for serving and cleaning. Last, Food is an essential part of our daily life. As result of our society having been changed, people are busier and busier working or attending social activities. It forces some people to change their food options. It is important that we get our nutrients throughout the day; however, opinions on food vary tremendously and depend on one’s lifestyle and culinary skills. Thus, some people enjoy eating meals at home where others prefer eating at restaurants.
