Duties include selling goods and attending to customers on the sales floor. No experience is necessary. This job requires a high school diploma or GED. Employee will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Employee will work under the immediate supervision of store management. The primary job functions of a retail sales associate do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Employee must have exceptional customer service skills, a desire to learn about the products in order to assist customers, basic computer skills, a lively attitude and a strong work ethic. Previous retail experience is a plus but not necessary. Employee needs to develop relationships with others to better accomplish work goals. Treat other employees with respect and professionalism. As well as quickly adapt to changes in work assignments, willingly accept direction and work tasks from supervisors. This job requires employees to immediately report issues that pose a threat to a positive working environment to store manager or Human Resources representative because we follow the EEOC laws such as Harassment. All employees need to know and obey the Non Harassment Policy seriously. Effectively meet our customers’ needs and make each customer feel welcomed. Everyone must greet every customer as they enter the store. Always have a smile when greeting and helping. Be courteous by giving customers full attention. Take appropriate time with the customer to make sure their needs are met before recommending anything such as the person’s style, size, likes, and dislikes.
