As he would say “rap game depending on me like a bungee cord” (Lil’ Wayne). In “MegaMan,“ Mr. Carter shows off his mind blowing lyrics and his ambitious swagger. Since his first album The Block is Hot Lil’ Wayne has proven his dedication to the rap game. The young Birdman Jr. lets the rappers know that his money is steady transmuting and his swagger is only improving. Lil’ Wayne makes it obvious that he has

Preview of main points: By understanding Tupac’s life and the dedication and determination he put into his career helped him in becoming one of the most original and successful rappers of all time. As for the album that cemented him as a great star to be around for awhile, that would be his 3rd album. Chief was released the summer of 2011 and débuted at No. 1 on both Top Country Albums and Billboard 200. Eric does a great job stretching the boundary of the country music sound. In the album he uses reggae and rock element with a few of his songs, challenging what everyone thought county should sound like.
Furthermore, he joined the military, working to show that he could excel at anything that he desired to. Gatsby also threw extravagant parties, believing that his fantasy could become reality, and the love of his life would reveal herself. Jay Gatsby is a great character because he is optimistic, believing that he can achieve his dreams by pursuing them. One of the first dreams that Gatsby wished to achieve was a switch from the lower to upper class. He had come from a family of “shiftless and unsuccessful farm people,” (Fitzgerald 99), and was determined to gain greater things.
For my research paper I chose to focus on Lil Wayne. I admire him because he is hard working and he has gone through a lot to achieve his American dream and he never gave up on it. Lil Wayne's American dream was to have a better life for himself and move his family out of the ghetto. He had been trying to do that since he was young and then he finally got discovered at the age of 13 by Birdman who was a well-known local producer. He took Lil Wayne to the top and even though he had to drop out of high school it was wroth it because he is now worth over 24 Million dollars.
Parents, peers, and the entire media can be blamed too b. How we can help make it positive “Starships were meant to fly!” sung by Nicki Minaj, one of the most known music artists in the hip hop industry. What is a starship anyways? These days you can’t tell what artists are thinking when they wear the clothes they wear and say the things they say, but adolescents seem to love it, or even find it amusing. The hip hop culture started back more than a few decades ago, in the late 1960’s.
Cole is my favorite rapper at the moment, he just has a different appeal to him compared to all the new rappers. What I particularly enjoy about the album is the rawness and openness of it. The combination of Cole's transparency and charisma will have you dancing in the club, sympathizing with the starving artist, and cheering for the dreamer by the time you reach the end of the disc. Through his own life story he also touches on important issues within our communities today such as abortion, single parent homes, and the responsibilities it takes to be a man. If you're a fan of J. Cole then the album is everything you'd expect, just with a more personal and retail demeanor.
At first, he is enchanted by the beautiful Erica, with whom he attempts to pursue a romantic relationship; likewise, he is enticed by the career and status opportunities that elite valuation firm Underwood Samson offers. However, Changez later realises that America is not what he first imagined. As his respect for his migrant country deteriorates, so too does his relationships with Underwood Samson and Erica. Changez was “one of only two Pakistanis in (his) class, two from a population of over 100 million souls”. When changez graduates from Princeton University and secures a job at underwood Samson he seems to be pleased and excited with his new life and opportunities he has been given.
October 2, 2012 ENC 1101 Lupe Fiasco is in my opinion one of the greatest artist of all time. He is a mainstream rapper with so much profound meaning to his songs. Because of this the untrained ear would just think he’s rapping; I see him as an icon as should everyone else old and young alike. Lupe Fiasco just released a new album called the Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album and it is awesome! His timing couldn’t have been anymore perfect now that Columbus Day is next week.
Alex Rodriguez is the highest paid baseball player and plays on the most popular team, the New York Yankees. In December 2007, he signed a contract worth $275 million for 10 years. People follow his every move and tend to copy whatever he is doing because it is the “hip” thing to do. Alex signed an endorsement deal with “Vita Coco” and advertised the company. In this report, Darren Rovell stated, “The Company sent a picture to the press of Rodriguez holding the product, which did $40 million in business in 2010, with the goal of hitting $100 million in sales this year (Rovell).” Just a picture of Alex Rodriguez drinking the product helped the company gain a lot of profit.
