Introduction: Organization's culture can define as a system of common beliefs, values, patterns of behavior that held and shared by the member in an organization; it is also a valuable resource which can improve the competitiveness of a company and uses to distinguish the company (Barney, 1986). Over the past decades, there is an increase of importance of organization's culture to organizations. It becomes one of the critical factors that affects the performance of a firm. This makes the in fact impacts of organizational culture to the performance of an organization has became a heat topic in management literature. In this paper, importance of organizational culture, the measuring method, the relationships between strong organizational culture and the overall performance of a firm will be discussed. First, the principles of organizational culture will be presented. Then, a well known company, Google will be used as a case study to illustrate how strong culture will affect the success of a firm. Finally, a conclusion will be drawn. Importance of organizational culture: Organization’s culture is one of the most valuable assets of an organization. Researchers found out that the culture is one of the key factors that benefits the performance and affects the success of the company (Kerr & Slocum, 2005). It can indicate by market share as well as income of the organization. Besides, a suitable culture can also help the organization to fit in with the demand of its industry's environment.
