Do people achieve more success by coopeation than by competition? People do achieve more success by coppeartion then competition. During coopertion, people can show their disadvantages of their own which can make up the loss of other individuals. This can shown in success of Paul Allen and Bill Gates an my own experience in junior years. WHen Bill Gates made his decision to drop out from Harvard, he did not care too much of the result. Two years later, he and Allen started the engine of Microsoft. Many people did not understand why Bill Gates gave up such a good opportunity to study in the world No. university. The reason was he found his perfect partner, Allen, which could help him to enlarge the company. The collaborated with each other perfectly by their different talents. Allen focused in inventing new program, while Bill Gates concerned in selling. Nowadays, Microsoft becomes the biggest software company and Bill Gates becomes the richest man in the world. If Bill Gates set up the company by his own, he could't achieve such success without Allen's help. Microsoft's success is the effort of both Bill Gates and Allen. My own experience as a child also exemplifies that cooperation is m ore important than competition. As inter school drama festival was held and each class was required to perform on stage. Our class divided into two groups to compete in the competition initially, one focused in acting and another focused in musical performing. However, when we first started the rehearsals, the results were not the one we expected. At last, our class remain into one group again in order to have a wonderful performance. Through our hard work and cooperation, our class won the champion. IF our class carried out the first plan, we couldn't achieve success. However, through the cooperation between musical performance and acting, our class achieved success. The
