A good way an individual can use social media to help strengthen their community is by setting up a Facebook account to delivery important information. For example my community has a Facebook page I follow and they are constantly updating information about my community’s environment. Every Thursday at 6pm they have tea time at our local city hall so we can get to know our neighbors better.
