First we must understand how a riot develops in the first place ((Point Finger On The Table)). A riot is a crowd that takes aggressive and illegal actions as a reaction to fear or anger. the crowd takes on a mob mindset and does things they normally would not do because the crowd makes them anonymous. being anonymous and seeing the actions of others makes them feel like thay can damage, burn or harm whatever and whomever that want ((Make Eye Contact W/Every One In The Room)). The fuel for a riot builds up over time.

The citizens feel they are guilty until proven innocent. There can be uprising in communities where these actions are taking place causing more instability in high crime areas. Could steps have been taken to avoid the civil disturbances, the largest seen in the 20th century in Great Britain, that followed? Did the Scarman Report go far enough in highlighting the issues of the black community and address the perception of a racist police force? The riots that occurred in Brixton in 1981 can trace a link back to the riots that had erupted in Bristol in 1980 when the local police entered the Black and White café to apprehend a known criminal. This led to one hundred and thirty people being arrested and twenty-five people hospitalised after a night of violence not seen on the streets of Great Britain since the race riots in the 1950’s. Bristol was experiencing the same issues highlighted by the local populace of Brixton – heavy handed policing using sus law, a lack of adequate housing and job opportunities.

Gang violence cause a lot of families a lot of pain. Gang violence has a major impact on my community here are three reason; most of the victims are young children or pre-teens, we lose our sense of security when we walk out of our homes, and the loss of a loved one to gang violence. Gang violence is senseless and stupid and cause our communities a lot of problems. Most of the victims of gang violence are young children and pre-teens. Our country has recently witnessed a large amount of police misconduct, and the murders of innocent people. It is important for police officers to treat all people and situations fairly, and only act with force if that is their only option instead of because they feel they are above the law. Police officers should be mindful of the life they live, and how to live without causing incidents that will make themselves and the police force look bad. It is very important to live by the code of ethics at work as well as away from work. It is sad that because of police misconduct people lose trust in police officers, and teach younger generations that all police are bad when they are not.
Also, they pick on the people that they just don’t understand. I have to say they pick on people because they are scared of not knowing why they do it or why they are the way they are. This can lead to gang like activity and violence against different groups or people. I would have to say because of them I think more people in school are in to the crime that is today. In theory, they can cause a person to want to commit a crime from the bullying done to them.

They believe that smacking does not work and just hurts the child both mentally and physically.
