Differences Between Studying In A High School And Studying In A College

Since I have become a student at College for one year, I realize there are many differences between studying in a High school and studying in a College. There are three main differences; regulations, studying and balancing work and social life. First is regulations which is very strict. I had to wear uniform whenever I came to school. I had to attend class regularly. I had to do homework and submit to my teachers for checking everyday. All was mandatory, I had to follow otherwise I could not become a good student and my school would report everything I did at school to my parents. It was an annoyance when my life at school was observed. However, studying in a College is much more pleasant. I don’t have to wear uniform and it makes me comfortable. Class attendant is not mandatory. It is your responsibility to study so no one care about it. It is up to you, if you don’t study well then you fail. These things are the most interesting things I like when I am student at College. Second is studying. The way you study in a College is totally different from High school. In High school, the most important thing is to study hard at school. I had to listen very careful to what my teachers said and write down what they told me to remember. Some subjects like history, geography and so on my teachers gave me notes and I had to learn it by heart for tests. I didn’t have much homework to do at home except some social sciences that needed to be remember. It is contrary to the way I learn in a College. In College, I have to work hard at home. In school, I have to take notes because the teachers teach too much for one day. The teachers can teach you three to five chapters per day. Sometimes they just explain what we don’t understand on certain subjects. That is the reason why working hard at home is very important. I also have to do a lot of research due to my major and make
