At GCU (Grand Canyon University) they had a presentation on Medical Technology and the careers related to it and let me tell you one thing, I found my true passion. This wasn’t the kind of passion I had for music, it was a whole new level of passion. This was something I could see my self doing for the rest of my life. It was going to be more than just a hobbie. It was going to my future.

There are so many other students around me that have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives, and I feel so lucky to know what I want to be when I “grow-up”, so to speak. I cannot picture myself doing anything else, and I can’t wait to move forward to achieve my goal of becoming a physician

Most importantly I’ve learned that achieving my goals takes a lot of commitment and hard work, for instance, I had to make sacrifices such as cutting my work hours from fulltime to part-time and learn to put education high on my priority
