As we ate our meal the waitress made many trips to give refills. The only problem with the service was the fact of another person bringing over our meal which is definitely understandable since the restaurant was considerably busy. Dining at Cracker Barrel was an enjoyable experience for me. With the abundance of fresh southern meals, and its unique and amazing environment, it simply helps you to relax while forgetting your troubles. During my visit to the Cracker Barrel I experience a historical atmosphere, the food was exceptional, the best of service, and although normally very busy, especially at prime season, it does not take long to get a table.

Of course, you can’t experience the culture of Guadeloupe without indulging in the food. In Guadeloupe, fresh seafood is always on the menu: Clams, lobsters, crabs, and fish are infused with Creole flavor and served with vegetables fresh from local gardens. Meat spiced with curry, red beans and rice served on the side of many dishes, and exotic fresh fruits like papaya and coconut on the menu for dessert also serve to remind you of the melting pot that exists not only in Guadeloupe’s culture, but in its kitchens. Guadeloupe is part of Frances government. French colonization began in 1635, and in 1674 Guadeloupe became of Frances domain.
Louisiana has access to fresh seafood and abundant seasonal produce, mixed over the years into a diverse cultural stew, it has a flavor profile all its own. This known as Cajun cuisine. A feast is usually involved. If the food can be made red, white and green (like the Mexican Flag) all the better! Mexicans that live abroad bring their celebrations with them. In US cities with large Mexican populations, such as Houston or Los Angeles, expatriate Mexicans will have parties and celebrations - you'll probably need a reservation to eat at any popular Mexican restaurant that day! Some people mistakenly believe that Cinco de Mayo, or May Fifth, is Mexico's independence day.
One of the more favorite islands is Eleuthera. Walking through the nicely paved streets of Eleuthera, the sweet smelling aroma of freshly ripened pineapples just dances under your nostrils making your salivary glands active and just seeing all the tangy juices erupt from that golden fruit makes you want to eat it every time. Just like any other islands of the Bahamas, the crystal clear turquoise beach catches your eyes every time you pass it. There is so much to do on this lovely island called Eleuthera; from looking at admirable coral reefs to even swimming with the fishes. Eleuthera also has dark and interesting caves to explore.
