Why I am in college, and my last English experiences There are many of reasons why I’m in college, and my last English experience is not what I expected it to be. Obviously everyone goes to college to get some type of degree. I’m planning on getting a bachelor’s degree in radiology and maybe extend the career on the way through the years. I’m the type of person that enjoys learning about the human body and how it works. I want to be able to have a good career and succeed in life.
My son Kaleb was born May 24 2008, and from that moment on I wanted to give him everything he deserves. I tried to go back to college right after my son was born, but I had no idea what I wanted to do for my future and taking care of Kaleb wasn't cheap. I was constantly working to pay for the expenses of Kaleb, while paying for the rest of the expenses I had. Finally four years later, I made the best decision I could for my family and that was going back to school. One of the many reasons why I came back was that I did not was to continue being in a factory the rest of my life.
In this essay I am going to explain key influences on the learning process of individuals. I am doing a BTEC extended diploma in health and social care right now at college and I am enjoying it so far. I did As levels last year in applied science, media studies and communication and culture and did like the subjects which made me go off track I didn’t attend lessons and my attendance dropped poorly. However when I came to pick up my results and I didn’t get the grades that I needed I realized that I need to put my head down because I don’t want to end up doing a boring/retail job all my life. My career goal is to become a radiographer which my dad first introduced to me and I found rather interesting, but my plan B is social work.
More importantly his ideas and changes are issues that I care about, issues that will directly affect my children and me as they go through the American school system and eventually have to look for work and provide health insurance for their families. The long-term changes being made will be felt for generations to come. Many have tried to discredit Barack Obama because of experience but I believe it is becoming more and more clear, what we needed was not someone with more experience; we needed and got someone who truly cares. He cares about the path he is laying for families around the world, including his own. In his own way he has given so many Americans reasons to believe in themselves, believe that they can get a good, quality education and eventually go into the job market and have health insurance and maybe even buy their own home; something that many Americans have yet to and may never accomplish.
I’m a father of two awesome sons name Cameron and Jonathon, and I have a beautiful step-daughter name Kristen. My wife is also going back to school to get her degree in education. I have been thinking a long time about going back to school and I felt that it was time to do it. I want to better my life for my kids and show them that an education is very important. I had a lot of dead end jobs that lead nowhere and felt that I should go back to school and get my degree.
Carla Wright My Return to School English Composition 1 Denya Cuiffo October 14, 2013 When we attend college as adults, we have expectations of what college will be or will not be. I decided to go back to school for quite a few reasons. The main factors for my returning to school includes my family and stability also plays big role in my returning to school. My reasons for going back to school is to gain communication skills, become a good role model for my children, if I decide to have any, gain independence and seek profitable employment that would be profitable for me. My father has always been my support system in my return to school.

I made sure that I would have help around the house while I am going to school, then my oldest daughter told me that she would be so proud to see me succeed my goal. So I checked around for some colleges and I found Ashford University. Even though I will be doing my courses online I will still be a full-time student. I will be going to Ashford University for my Bachelors in Health Care
My mother became a widow at a very young age leaving her to raise three young children on her own. The learning to live without a father figure in my life. Things that I remember of my childhood. My Mom had a hard time making ends meet. The family gatherings and barbecues.
And the number one answer I could think of right off the back was to make that money. Nowadays, student around my age only think about going to college in order to be successful finically, not just for an education. Although some choose to learn far beyond the classroom, many students fail to take the time to go into deeper thinking to figure things out for themselves. I believe education is a tool that a person obtains through many years of development and learning, and will be continuously employed throughout the duration of their lives. Growing up, my mom pretty much told me that if I was not joining the military then I was for sure going to college.
