This is the most horrible crime that any human being can commit against a child. Child molesters, incest offenders, pedophiles, or sexually violent offenders are the bottom feeders of our society. We must start treating these sexual predators as the criminals they are by establishing a set of common laws for their punishment. Child molesters should be locked up for life with no possibility of parole or receive the death penalty. Punish Child Molesters The time has come for us to put an end to child molestation by stopping child molesters who continually roam our streets preying on our children. A child molester, sex offender, or pedophile can be anyone, a family member, a friend of the family, a neighbor, a coach, a stranger, teacher, a priest, and a daycare provider. Our focus has to change in order to help our children. Whom or what laws are protecting our children, when a crime such as carjacking becomes a federal offense and not child molestation. This paper will discuss the meaning of child molestation; discuss who a child molester is, and discuss what happens to child molesters. In addition, this paper discusses some cases of child molestation and their laws and the after affects of children that survived child molestation. Finally, the reasoning for taking child molesters off the streets and putting them away for life, without the possibility of parole.
