The first indication of sin is found in the Book of Genesis with Adam and Eve’s encounter with the serpent. This encounter was at the Garden of Eden, when Adam ate from the forbidden “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil”. Adam and Eve lived free from sin in a perfect environment, and in obedience to God, especially from his command to never eat the fruit from the forbidden tree. The serpent, representing the devil, tries to tempt the two to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. The serpent first tries to tempt Eve, and succeeded, and then Adam. The two tried to run away from God, but failed. By Adam and Eve’s wrong doings, sin was created. Adam and Eve were the example for all of human race to be sinners before God. Because of the first human couple’s act of sin, every human being has shared selfish nature.
As a human being, we are all born with original sin. Original sin is the consequence we have as humans for Adams wrong doings and turning away against God. Everyone sins, and it is normal. We all make mistakes, and no one is perfect. People should not judge others based on their actions and wrong doings, careless or not. No one is to judge others, because every one of us has sinned, even sometimes without realizing we have sinned. Even the holiest of people sin and it is part of being human. We can stop ourselves from sinning, but we have to repent and learn from our mistakes.
A time when I was going to sin on purpose, I felt very nervous. I was planning on telling a big lie to my parents, and I had planned it out ahead of time to think if it would actually work.
