tim avery A day at the flea market If you’ve ever wondered where the best items to buy can be found. Its definitely going to be at a garage sell or the flea market. Maybe that’s just an opinion, based on my experience with quite a few of these places. With a little effort such places can be found easily. Garage sells and flea markets for most people can really be a jackpot. The more common of these two however, is the flea market Many of these items are one heck of a deal; one mans junk could surely be useful to another. Oh how fun to search and buy for the perfect price. If there’s an interesting item, it could be fun to bargain for the right deal. It was interesting to see what all there was. The most expensive being dogs and maybe even a horse or two. My father would always investigate the roosters and hens, that would be available. So this of course would carry on to myself, with high interest in the purest quality rooster to take back home. My favorite type was the yellow rooster, my dads the red with color variations however, these are serious bargains. The rooster owner had the look that explained it all. He believed he had the best, it was going for a good price. It never got old my father was quite the bargainer. He knew the best way to talk to someone while having the appropriate deal. The money would always be there until he decided otherwise. I watched as he and the owner of the chickens went head to head trying to find a deal. I knew by the smiles a deal had been reached; it appears my dad needed a new rooster this time around. Above all the dogs would be my favorite with their Labrador colors all being different. I was certain it was my favorite type of dog. These were beautiful pups in pairs of about five very costly. My dad must of told me we cant buy one a hundred times it
