The first show that they did was at a music festival called Texas Tornado Jam, which hosted local bands outside of Austin. The Fabulous Thunderbirds, which included Stevies brother Jimmie Vaughn, played after Stevies band. The event was broadcasted on T.V. Many people watched this event including Mick Jagger from The Rolling Stones, who was so impressed that he asked Stevie to play a private party that The Rolling Stones were hosting at the Danceteria club in New York. Jerry Wexler, who was a record executive from Atlantic Records, saw the band play at a record release party and asked them to play the Montreux International Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Attending a live concert you can see their real motive and feelings through each song. Although the venue of the concert wasn’t appealing and didn’t get to experience his whole actual concert, every song that Wiz Khalifa performed was great and you could either get involved or even relate to the song. I attended a concert at the Arizona State Fair in the Coliseum on Friday, October 17. Wiz Khalifa was part of the 2014 Concert Series at the Arizona State Fair. Wiz came from a military family and his first attempt at committing lyrics to paper was around age nine, and at 12 he was already recording and producing his own records in his father's Oklahoma studio.
Concert Critique of Luke Bryan: Dirt Road Dairies On October 24th, 2014, I attended the concert of country artist Luke Bryan at the 1-800 ASK GARY Amphitheater in Tampa, Florida. The title of the concert was “Dirt Road Dairies” where he sang a majority of his new songs off his fourth album “Crash My Party”. Luke Bryan is a solo artist, but does travel with other artists when he performs live. I enjoy listening and attending Luke Bryan’s concerts because I feel like I can relate to him. He sings about everything from love to hunting, but this most common theme among is music is about partying and having a good time.

The album's title song was especially written for her by Johnny Mercer, and is said to be the last piece he wrote before his death in 1976. During the 70s, Dearie performed at Carnegie Hall with former Count Basie blues singer Joe Williams and jazz vocalist Anita O'Day in a show called The Jazz Singers. In 1981 Blossom appeared with Dave Frishberg for three weeks at Michael's Pub in Manhattan. Frishberg, besides being a songwriter, also sang and played the piano, and Dearie frequently performed his songs, such as “Peel Me A Grape”, “I'm Hip” and “My Attorney Bernie”.
Noel Redding left for England and was replaced by Jimi's old army buddy, Billy Cox. Mitch Mitchell left also, but soon returned when Jimi formed his new band, Band of Gypsies . Jimi and his new band went to the Woodstock Music and Art Fair in August 1969. The apex of this performance was his playing of the Star Spangled Banner. This song was a meaningful and compelling statement during the height of civil rights and the Vietnam War.
