Cultural Events In Nigeria As a veritable instrument of national integration and peaceful co-existence, Culture is a very important element in any society. In Nigeria, festivals abound to emphasize and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the people. These cultural festivals are found in all the geo-political zones in the country and have become international events, attracting tourists from all over the world. As a foremost Cultural Institute, NICO participates very actively in these festivals in her capacity as a government training centre for cultural workers and cultural orientation.
