She felt very uncomfortable and couldn’t do her work. Mariah was just staring at the clock waiting for 1:44 p.m. to hit for the next class. When the bell rung Mariah dashed out of the class and Daniel immediately ran after her. “Hey can I talk to you? I’m sorry about that whole confrontation earlier”.
Personal narrative observations of RhetoricMarta Venson English-112 Professor: Miss Fields Rhetoric Personal narrative observations of Rhetoric As I walked out of the classroom, I noticed the faces of the other classmates. There was a lot of confusion, and some fear on their expression. The expectation of what is this assignment is going to be about; some of them were from another country and different cultures. So I relived the identical fear because I felt the same fear that I experienced years ago because also I came to United States years previously, and I had experiences these changes of my culture. We walked through the hall and open the first door; one of the girls kicked the door trying to keep the door wide open.
The Other Side of the Rainbow Sophie Johnson is the neighborhood’s head mom and chief bitch. My entire middle school staff is in the habit of disappearing whenever she has an appointment and I even had a secretary once who called in sick on the days of Sophie’s scheduled visits. When I fired her she unrepentantly informed me that her job description didn’t include sucking up to a know-it-all, ex-Homecoming Queen with a Napoleon complex. Since I couldn’t argue with her logic, I wrote her a glowing recommendation but had to let her go just the same. Sophie has a furious tick in her left eye when she gets angry that slows down or speeds up to match the level of her outrage – it’s a dead giveaway.
I would fall asleep in class because I was so tired. Then I could not finish homework because I had no idea of how to finish the assignment. Finally, working while in school and not doing homework assignments was another major factor in my becoming an alliterate
The classroom of today has been transformed into a variable war zone. Teachers are forced to walk on eggshells at all times or risk being fired because of an enraged parent or possibly a student that felt mistreated because an author used the word “nigger.” Some students get the idea that they are being persecuted because of the material they are being taught. To some, it seems that people seem to look for an excuse to be offended and take action against whoever they feel needs to be punished for reading a book. Teachers are now doing their jobs with both hands tied and children are at a disadvantage because of it. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is written by a master of satire, Mark Twain, who uses his characters to reflect the world’s happenings around him.
I started to become the center of all the girl drama that went around. And it seemed like I was in the counselor’s office regularly to get an update to see how I was doing. My lack of self confidence and the trouble in high school reflected my attitude towards my education. I was never confident when it came to projects, assignments, or class work. It felt like my peers were better than me because it seemed like they put a lot of thought and input into their school works while I felt like I turned in something worthless.
Three days out of the week the State Department of Education comes and monitors the teachers and students in the learning environment. Many of the students in the classroom extremely lazy and show little to no care about their grades. During class students will show disrespect towards the teacher by sleeping, disrupting the class, and starting drama. While this is all going on inside the classroom, the people from the State Department are writing down what they see and are deciding to make changes for the future. Teachers have been getting replaced left and right because of their inability to control the students in the classroom.
We told them we are sorry but we will clean right after we selfishly with our playing and she told us if we didn't clean right now and she would give us punishment. I told her why the fick can’t you let us have a fun since the dorm was bored as hell we aren't let to let us be our-self-limited. She actually gave us punishment for two day by not going outside for fun because of my bad sign language and I told her we refuse to clean and we continue with our playing then left the worst all mess up in living room and somewhere in other wing
I started skipping class, leaving the campus and just generally not caring about my education. That soon got to my parents ears and it started creating problems at home. My parents began to see me differently. They didn't trust me as much took away my privileges such as using the phone and going out to my friends house. At the time i though being a rebel and disrespecting was "cool" i have no idea what i was thinking if everything just began to go downhill from there.
In one incident during her treatment, she became diaphoretic and had to have her blood sugar checked. She said she was unable to have breakfast that morning because she was running around with school and work. If her sugar is too low, she always has to be prepared with a snack. In the beginning, D.C. was afraid and
