The scientific method is an involved method to ensure that research is ethically complete (Shaughnessy, Zechmeister, & Zechmeister, 2009). In research two types of data exist, quantitative data, and qualitative data. Quantitative data refers to data that involves numbers; behaviors or objects that can be counted, such as statistics, percentages, and formula-based analysis (Shaughnessy, Zechmeister, & Zechmeister, 2009). Qualitative data refers to data that consists of verbal summaries, observations, or analysis.

Because of the importance of that role, CPAs have responsibilities to anyone who employs their professional services. CPAs also have a responsibility to assist one another in enhancing the accounting profession, maintaining the public's confidence, and consistently fulfilling the profession's exclusive responsibilities. The voluntary association of CPAs, better known as the AICPA, has proposed a code of conduct that CPAs have chosen to adhere to. Now it is time to discuss the purpose for AICPA’s code, why it is considered the foundation of ethical reasoning, and its most important purposes.
The word “advocate” itself means to plead, to support and also to speak on behalf of person, or a cause. In other to clearly define the concept of advocacy so it can be used for further analysis there is need for the word to be adequately defined and clarified. Meleis (2012) stated that the goal of concept analysis is to transport the concept closer to being used for research or clinical practice purpose. My reason for choosing this specific concept is to clarify the meaning of the word advocate, plus I also have a personal interest in knowing the further methods in developing this concept, and to explore others perception on the meaning of advocacy. It will attempt to define what being a reflective teacher means, whether it is a worthwhile exercise to pursue and in practical terms, how it can be achieved. It will look at a number of different models of reflective practice put forward by educational theorists and the degree of their success. As with any model, it can only be tested on real evidence and this will be taken from my portfolio of work from my NQT year and to a lesser degree from ITT training practice. I hope to prove that being a reflective practitioner is worthwhile to your personal and teaching development, once you can establish the model and practical methodology that works within your own teaching philosophy. Before applying the theory of reflective practice to my experiences, it is important to understand what this “abstract” (Watson & Wilcox, 2000, p.58) idea means to me in my own teaching context and development.
Importance Critical thinking is an important element of all professional fields and academic disciplines (by referencing their respective sets of permissible questions, evidence sources, criteria, etc.). Within the framework of scientific skepticism, the process of critical thinking involves the careful acquisition and interpretation of information and use of it to reach a well-justified conclusion. The concepts and principles of critical thinking can be applied to any context or case but only by reflecting upon the nature of that application. Critical thinking forms, therefore, a system of related, and overlapping, modes of thought such as anthropological thinking, sociological thinking, historical thinking, political thinking, psychological thinking, philosophical thinking, mathematical thinking, chemical thinking, biological thinking, ecological thinking, legal thinking, ethical thinking, musical thinking, thinking like a painter, sculptor, engineer, business person, etc. In other words, though critical thinking principles are universal, their application to disciplines requires a process of reflective contextualization.
