Being able to settle in one area like an urbanized society was a big advantage. They did not have to constantly be moving area from place to place and also they could grow large amounts of food. Although growing your own crops is very hard, its better than moving around and they had a pretty good chance of supporting themselves for a lifetime. In an urbanized society they often had surplus so they had more spare time and that was a big advantage because that allowed people to develop technology like pottery and trade that for other valuable items. “While the Industrial Revolution had both positive and negative effects on society and the economy, the positive effects outweighed the negative.” The Industrial Revolution came to organize and provide much more benefits than harm in many ways and while change overall has both positive and negative effects the positives definitely outweighed the negative. Before the industrial revolution everything was much harder. Let’s take a look at various aspects that found to have more good than bad. Although one may view the fencing of the land owned by villagers and townspeople as an abuse, the reality was that at the time it was something needed. This had a much more positive effect because while the villagers lost land the enclosure resulted in efficient farming that produced more food.

As well as that, there are fewer factory regulations at sweatshops because the health and safety regulations aren’t as important in LEDC’s, that way it makes it cheaper to run the factory. As well as that, renting and buying the factory is cheaper too because the economy of LEDCS are weak the demand of buying property is low because not many people can afford it therefore buildings and houses are worth less because of low demand. Another reason clothes are manufactured in LEDCs is because there is less tax to foreign government, therefore there is a bigger profit for the manufacturers. My other reason for choosing SWCC is for their smaller classes they offer. Another reason for choosing SWCC is for its great parking, because finding a parking spot can be difficult at universities. A great reason why I chose SWCC is for the programs they offer, and the flexible schedule so you can have time to work if need to.

In high density areas, there is only a few natural vegetations,which include trees and grasslands and etc, are found within the buildings, roads, and parking areas. So it makes harder for the inner suburb to have a cleaner environment without planting large amount of vegetations.To sum up, it has both problems and benefits by developing the urban consolidation but the advantages of consolidation is more convincing , making th consolidation form as a more sustainable and livable plan

Parsons believes this changed occurred due to society changing what it needs. Society need to change due to geographic mobility due to factories being created in one area and knocked down in another. Therefore people have to be able to just up roots and “follow the work”. The mobility would be a lot easier for a nuclear family than an extended family due to the fact that there are less people to move. Secondly there was a high demand for a socially mobile workforce.
