Our freedoms are what set American’s apart from other countries. For example, the amendment is a great example of what I mean. It symbolizes so many great aspects of our freedom, but yet nothing more symbolic than how it represents the ultimate sacrifice paid by our men and women in uniform. The flag reminds us of the rights, privileges, and freedoms we so dearly enjoy today. Lest we forget our service members for they paid the final costs.

Mitt Romney were both nominated to be the presidential candidate of their respected parties because they were the best fit and had the best goals for the United States. Their acceptance speeches each showed why they were the best men for the job. However, President Obama’s and Mitt Romney’s speeches had some striking similarities to go along with the obvious differences between them. For instance, in both of their speeches Obama and Romney emphasized that the people are what make America. Obama stated, “The people make it possible” and “people give me hope” while Romney also said that the “strength of America is based on its communities and people”.
Roosevelt was all about the people. He believed the one thing that can save a nation was the people of the nation itself. That’s why during the WW2, Franklin D Roosevelt spoke constantly on the radio, reporting war events and rallying the American people in support of the war effort.
