Every follower of Jesus Christ must find his or her identity in him and him alone. Students do not see that at first, this comes through spiritual maturity. “A young person’s identity does not depend on pure phycology, human goals and achievements, or social labels. Each young person’s identity, and ours as well , comes because we are held in high esteem by a sovereign God who has informed us of sin and forgiveness” (pg. 194).
Therefore, no one should try to sing a part that doesn’t fit them or try to sing by them self. They must pay attention to the teacher and listen to the other singers. Failing to do so will result in the choir producing a sound that is unpleasant and unorganized. However, when everyone is on one accord the end result will be a beautiful angelic sound. In other words, we each add a different part to the song called life and it is therefore important that we stick to what God has called us to do and strive to be in unity with one another.
Deshaun Wilson English 1002-40619 9/5/12 ULM’s Greatest Organization Being involved on campus was always one of my main goals. Campus Activities Board, also known as CAB, is a great way for me to achieve that goal. Campus Activities Board is an organization that host many activities and events on campus throughout the school year that allows you to meet new people, gain leadership skills, have lots of fun, and learn an abundance of new things. If you’re always bored, CAB is the organization responsible creating great events. For example, the awesome Spring Fever week, an event that most students won’t miss, at the end of April.
It shows Christians that they should help everyone who is in need, leaving no one behind. Jesus also has the Commandment of Love, ‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart ... You shall love your neighbour as yourself’. The Commandments of Love underpins the relationship between God and his believers. The Ten Commandments are a list of religious rules given to the people of Israel by God. It outlines the behaviours that are not allowed personally or not to be tolerated in others.
Being independent does not mean that we have to cut everybody out of our lives to accomplish what we desire. Equality 7-2521 says he has found “the answer”, which he had long been searching for. That he, himself will be the meaning of new things. He announces that he is done with the word “we” because it is the “root of all evils”. Equality 7-2521 now sees himself as the “face of god”.
Good afternoon and welcome to Clark State Community College’s 49th commencement ceremony. My name is Heather Anne Powell, and I have been selected to represent the graduating class. The Core Values at Marywood University are to shape us to be the best possible human being we can be. All the qualities that I would want and need to be a successful person out of college are being demonstrated here. The Mission Statement and Core Values are something that I will have in my head every morning and try my best to complete every Core Value each day to make my stay at Marywood University the best it can be for others and also myself. Every student and staff member at Marywood follows the Core Values and Mission Statement everyday which makes the campus so peaceful and fun. You can talk to anyone or go anywhere and know that that people will try to follow the Core Values to gain respect for one another and also try to make you time here the best it can possibly
Another quality that unites all Americans is its past. Monuments like the Lincoln Memorial, historical landmarks, like war battlefields, and federal holidays such as the 4th of July are just some models of a time or place that all Americans can share. Or like the time I visited the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. which was filled with pride and joy for the nation. These things remind Americans of the struggle our country endured to gain freedom and the
I have fallen in love with the ISU campus after seeing it first-hand in July. The open campus is very pleasant and comfortable. I have met many alumni from Illinois State University who have only positive things to say about the school and its courses. My best friend is also thinking about applying at ISU. His father, Tom Rosko, is a graduate of ISU who is encouraging me to attend the school because of its great academic curriculum.
However I know that returning to school will benefit me in many ways. It will complete me as an individual, businessman, and as a father. I can proudly tell my children that it's never too late to accomplish a goal. Not to mention the satisfaction that I will have gained knowing that I pushed myself to go back to school for my degree. There are so many positives that result from returning to school.
