The reasoning and logic that a Big Mac is read as the food of a college student is that many students get sick of the cafeteria food and look for other options, but without going too deep into their pockets. This also helps low-income families and it is an easy way to get a meal. The evidence and analysis links back to the main idea of the paper because it gives an insight into why the Big Mac is so well known and liked, as well as it shows how it appeals to people through ethos, pathos and logos. The evidence supports who would be seen eating a Big Mac because the people who would be eating a Big Mac is someone who can not buy expensive food and need a quick and easy meal. The analysis part also supports the main idea of the paper because it gives more explanation about why these people are drawn to Big Mac’s and why they would read a Big Mac in such a
Shops should be located near campuses and open later so that students up late studying can get great coffee later at night. Locations should also be located in shopping centers where middle-class families frequently shop like shopping centers that contain toy stores, pet shops, and department stores that cater to the middle-class needs on the correct price point. The age ranges that are in the target market would be those between the ages of 18 and 40 when the desire for specialty coffee is there but also the need for a strict budget. Psychographic factors include buyers who like the status of specialty coffee, need the boost of caffeine, enjoy a relaxing place to sit and visit with friends, and college kids who need the focus that caffeine provides along with a quiet place to study. Fancier coffee has become associated with higher society, and class and consumers want to buy something that will give them this satisfaction and the product that they enjoy.
Another cause could be that those books can be found elsewhere online for cheaper. The University store was forced to keep the price of the textbooks the same, but as time went on, the price became cheaper on different online websites. PROCEDURES TO IMPROVE STORE’S OBSOLESCENCE PROBLEM First off, the University store has to be mindful of the demand for these textbooks. There is no need to order hundreds of extra books without knowing for sure if they are going to sell out or not. They must instead order a small number of books and see how students react to it.
For example, if the meal is $5 at Subway and the student swipes their card the $5 would go to Subway and the leftover $2 would go to the University. If the meal costs more than $8 then the student would use two meal swipes and the remaining $6 would go to the University. The University may also be able to network with the surrounding restaurants which may cause more jobs for students who may be looking to work while they are in school or even when they graduate. The only costs occurred in this plan maybe the cost of the swipe machines and maybe advertising for the university to make the students aware of which restaurants participate. The swipe machines can be bought online for around $25.00.
Once permission is granted, the independent businesses that occupy the building may not allow the Snack Cart to provide snacks and refreshments to their employees because they feel it is distracting. One idea to develop a partnership with independent business owners is to provide a place on the cart for their business cards so potential customers will see them. At the same time leave business cards for the Snack Cart in the offices. ELASTICITY OF THE PRODUCT The Snack Cart products are elastic. Consider that the purchase price of coffee increases at a rate that causes the selling price to rise by $.25.
Advertising of fast food keeps costumers wanting more and more. Anytime costumers see the satisfying sandwich, instantly their mouth waters for the taste of it. Local grocery stores and convenient shops have ads and coupons from the local fast food franchises. The coupons increase the costumers appeal to the restaurant because of a possible discount and full belly. The situation is very ironic because the grocery stores with nutritious food advocates for fast food restaurants that are, in context, competing with their sales.
A lot of teenagers could feel the need to only apply for fast food because that’s where their friends are, or it’s the “cool†thing to do, but what about all of the other options for a part time job there are. As a result of working elsewhere could be more flexible hours, friendly employees, getting homework done before or after work, etc. There are always more options than just the usual “Mcjobâ€. Do what make you happy.Plus, a part-time job elsewhere could end up be more rewarding in showing you skills that could be useful. All in all, a Mcjob is the start for teenagers to taste their first bite of freedom.
College Monthly Budget Project While inputting info on my college monthly budget worksheet I realized a few things. One thing is that community college is much cheaper, you must limit your spending, and last but most importantly do not overspend. Community college is so much cheaper. If you have a certain amount you want to spend but still want to get a great education than community college is a great place for you. Although you may not have the full college life experience it is a great way to get you your degree and get you on track to your career.
College students can waste almost all of their money on food if not spent wisely. For instance, taking a trip to the store and buying groceries will get students much more for their money than spending it on fast food all the time. Buying bread and deli meat is a good money saving decision because those sandwiches will last them longer than a fast food meal for a night. Students who are smart with their money and who make the right decisions on what and where to eat will save themselves large amounts of money. Also, buying healthier snacks may not taste as sweet as donuts or cakes but they do cost less.
The low graduation rate is not good for my community because it will lead to increase in the degree of unemployment and this may trigger the rate of crime. Every person desires a safe and secure environment, an environment where its inhabitants enjoy numerous economic benefits. Hence, I would address the unequal allocation of resources and discrimination in district schools because by addressing this inequality, I will be creating not only an educated community but also reduced crime
