Our Nation’s Best Chance: People as the Police.
Of the 50 states in our nation only one of them has failed to come to terms with the clear necessity of any form of concealed carry laws. Illinois has failed to commit to a single type of conceal and carry law, this raises a question; what does the governor have against the safety of citizens throughout the state? This Midwestern state might have been able to prevent a terrible massacre on one of its College Campuses. In 2008 a horrendous attack took place on Northern Illinois University, five dead and 21 injured. Imagine how different things would be for schools across the nation if teachers, faculty and staff were able to carry weapons within their prospective areas. Not only could terrifying attacks on schools across the nation be prevented, but the overall safety and peace of mind this would bring to the average American citizen will out rank the disadvantages that have been brought up. Many officials believe that if legislation were passed in favor of the concealed carry laws it would preserve order and enforce overall community safety.
Among the many problems that the state of Illinois has, Conceal and Carry laws are a protruding thorn in the side for the financially crippled state. Illinois is the only state with no form of the newly issued law surrounding the subject of Conceal and Carry....
