Analogy Essay (Topic 2) What does technology mean? Everything we see and do these days come from foundation of technology. One of the far most the best invention, Computers, have came a long way, giving us a touch of it in a single portable instrument that weights possibly around three pounds. But for the internal processing system of a computer and its functions, it can be compared to a human brain. Scientists and researchers are researching on human brain to give the world duplication of brain on human figurative robots. The technology has grown to instinct level that the modern machines (Metonymy) are capable of performing the tasks with just the right amount of accuracy and precision as human brain can. Just like humans, even computers have their own diseases and infections that lead to system failures and data corruption. Despite of being a non-living instrument, computers know each column of their memory, just like a multi-storage building. Due to the versatility, this technology always has and always will walk step by step with the progress of the human kind. (Parallelism) Having a process of a thought in a mind, in comparison computers go through series of instructions and commands, too that lead them towards a logical output for a valid input. Yet on a same thought, computer has self defence system that is on alert 24/7, troubleshooting all intruders trying to access the restricted areas of the hard-drive. On a same note, computer takes spontaneous actions to fix any damaged part of the system in similarity of the human brain that tries to alert the whole body, triggering the defence system (white blood cells) to immediately report to their designated spots. In such ways, computers and human brains are able to solve to a problem, more so using the same process of instructions. The technology and computers have grown so much that it is fascinating
