Voting for me would allow them to have a better secretary for the rest of the year and possibly a better representative next year. By voting for me to go to CASL, my classmates would benefit because we would have a better & experienced leader in their class. I have shown major commitment and dedication to both leadership and my class. Every single day (even Mondays), I am early and ready to learn how to become a better leader. I have also been at almost every single workday the freshman class has had for all required events.
Teachers are tested annually to make sure they are and can be effective teachers. Knowing that I will be tested every year lets me know that the state cares about the student’s education just as much as I do. Knowing that each year when I am tested that it determines if I continue to have a job or lose my job makes me want to be the best teacher that I can be. Teachers that are let go are not up to standards, so it makes me know and feel secure that the teachers teaching the students care about the student’s futures as much as I
This goal can be measured by comparing it to the SMART goal methodology we discussed in class. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. This goal is specific because they must train and perform better each day to win the championship in the few weeks they had. It is measurable since they check each person’s time and how they progress, if one runner’s time doesn’t make it they get cut out of the top 7. Coach Newton always tells the boys however fast you run, run faster.
Normally during the last few days of school, kids put aside their work because they are excited for school to be done with. When they do that, they start getting low grades. Kids usually don't listen at this time of year. Without kids building up with excitement, they would been good leaders through the years. If kids have year-round school, they probably would keep their grades.
Flunking students can be used as a positive tool by our education system. The consequence of flunking and holding students back alone can be used to motivate and encourage students to put full effort into class work. Most students fear flunking only because they’re afraid of what friends, peers and society will say or think about them; this is all wrong, the real fear should be failing and not being
IEP (Individualized Education Plan) usually has the obstacles addressed as to what standard expectation and based on the goals of their objectives to be met. The issue is financial situations in some districts where they don’t want to spend the dollars on a student. No matter how severe a hearing loss the students may have, they deserve the right to perform the best of their abilities. These children need proper accommodations and support from their families and teachers. “In the high-stakes testing model, everyone is given an equal chance to learn, and they take the same tests to determine what they have learned.” (Spring, 16th Edition, 2013, American Education, P. 63) Regardless of deaf and hard of hearing students mainstream in public schools, we are able to focus on solutions to help these students succeed.
I would like to show my family that education is very important, because it doesn't only affect you but everyone that is surrounded by you. I would like to set an example for my little sister, and younger cousins, that anything is possible, and that your education sets a path for your future that if you have a bright future you can have a beautiful life. I would also like God to be proud of me as well. Bishop Noll Institute offers a challenging academic environment, I clearly see it in the upperclassmen’s attitudes and the standards that they set for me as a freshman this year. The more I know the better opportunities will come my way in the future.
One of my goals is to maintain good grades, which means I will be studying more often and putting even more effort into my school work next year. Another goal I have already set up is to maintain my new studying habits I have created this year. Next year I hope to accomplish my goal of keeping my GPA up and push myself further to succeed beyond my goals I have set up for my junior year and my senior year. Other than having goals about school, one of the things I look forward to in the future is meeting new people and making new
Continuing Academic Success Academic success is something that every student should strive for, regardless of what type of student they are. Whether they are a first year freshman fresh out of high school or a single mother wishing to continue her education, every student should strive to get good grades in all their courses and take full advantage of all the resources that are available to them through their university. “Unfortunately, there is no magical remedy for motivating students. Humans are complex individuals, and when educators began identifying ways to motivate individuals they are treading on thin ice.” (Petty, 2014). Setting Goals By really thinking of what you want to get out of your time at school, you can narrow down what you need to work on and set some goals for yourself.
Schooling life is a important part to all of the teenagers. Since they start their school life, every day they meet their classmates and teachers more than their parents. The “A” students have good performance in all of the test, teachers love them. But they don't have friends in school nor clubs. Isn't it a big problem we have to worried about?
