Online Shopping Versus Traditional Shopping In an era in which the use of technology is increasing, many entrepreneurs and other business oriented persons take full advantage in using it to attract a larger clientele and making the shopping experience more convenient for prospective buyers. As a result, online shopping has become the preferred choice of buyers, rather than the more traditional form of purchasing items. With the evolution of online shopping, ‘die hard’ traditional shoppers state that the benefits are the same-in that both types of shoppers are exposed to wide varieties and are able to purchase and enjoy the experience of using the items purchased. At the same time, however, prospective buyers will prefer the convenience, comfort, guarantee and safety that online shopping proposes. Customers choose online shopping for many reasons. One of these is convenience. As opposed to having to endure hours in traffic, standing in long lines, trying to get from building to building using the busy sidewalks or from store to store in the overcrowded shopping centers, shopping online offers the convenience of moving from store to store just by the click of a button. Each store markets itself via a webpage or a website and customers can sit in the comfort of their homes and peruse the stores for items in which they may be interested. In addition to convenience, online shopping allows a shopper to be able to compare prices easily and quickly without the fear of exhaustion. Because of the availability and easy access of stores online, a shopper can compare prices for items in much less time. Thus, Online shopping also saves time; time that would otherwise be used in walking or driving around from building to building and from store to store, which can be very exhausting for a traditional shopper.
