I. Introduction Intercountry adoption is the practice in which children in a position of need, and in the absence of their biological parents, are sent from their country of origin to an awaiting adopting family usually in the developed world. This form of adoption can engage children of all ages; infants to teenagers have been sent abroad to live with a new family through this system. This issue is interconnected with broader notions of the human right to live, global inequity, developmental aid, displaced persons in times of armed conflict, among others; thus, it is an issue of vast complexity and contentiousness. Much debate exists in the international community as to the justification for intercountry adoption and how to best ensure the well being of children around the world.
How effective is the court in dealing with issues affecting family members? A family is defined as ‘the relationship between two or more people related through blood or by de facto, adoption or fostering’. The notion of family is continuously changing with the modern day alternative family arrangements existing, such as same sex, blended or single parent families, and the acceptance of these particular families have changed the legal requirements of a family. However, the main role of a family has not been foreseen, this is to provide protection and care for all members. The Family Law Act of 1975 established a Family Court of Australia, it was to deal with particular family matters.

Home-Based vs. Center-Based Daycares Home-based and center-based daycares have been the topic of numerous conversations between parents over many generations. In most cities, there are multiple types of daycares to choose from. With consideration of the cost and availability, levels of care, and the training or continued education of the caregivers, selection of a daycare can be a difficult process for a family. Center-based daycares provide a set fee/hour and structured environment, but home-based daycares may provide a more flexible and relaxed, child-friendly atmosphere. Cost can sometimes be a determining factor when looking into the type of daycare to use.
CU1520 1.1 When assessing a child or young person’s development there are many factors that have to be considered: Factor number 1. Confidentiality In my setting before any member of staff is allowed to observe a child they must make sure that they have permission from the parents, each child in my setting has an enrolment form and on each form there is a section on confidentiality and will ask for permission to observe their child, take photos and if we are able to take them out on outings anything else that is not on the form that we need permission for will be typed up on a letter and sent home. Most of our parents are happy for us to observe their child and they are aware that each development file is stored in a safe place so that know body else can access it and this is stated in our confidentiality policy. All staff is aware of the confidentiality policy and understands that everything is to be kept safe and out of sight from those who are not allowed to see any information on any child. Factor number 2-children’s wishes and feelings There will be many times in my practice when assessing a child is not appropriate, I have experienced times when I have been trying to assess a child and I couldn’t because they were too upset, therefore I postponed the assessment to another day which I then had to rearrange my daily planning.

Decisions based on instinct and intuition, such as knowing when a situation may be dangerous or needing to buy a lottery ticket on a certain day because you can feel it, may be attributed to being born with a gift. However, most choices in one's life are based on one's surroundings. There are too many factors involved to counter the argument that people are born the way they are; we are a product of our environment. There are many aspects of someone's surroundings that affect how they act and react to situations. When someone is born they are already being molded into an image that their parents want to have them be.
