Ethical Decisions Regarding Organ Transplants Brinda Loupe American Military University Modern medicine has made many achievements, perhaps one of the most remarkable achievements is the ability to prolong a life by replacing one or more of their major organs. Many people wait years for a transplant, some may not receive one at all, due to the number of organs available is lower that the need or demand for them. Along with the supply issues are many ethical issues arise with regard to procurement and distribution of the organs. In an effort to realign the hospital staff; administration decided that it was costing the organization a lot of money to employ a high flux of Registered Nurses (RNs) at the Extended Care Facility (another 24-hour Skilled Nursing Services and Rehabilitation inpatient services provided by Hilo Medical Center). Leadership decided to weed out the number of RNs in the ECF and have more LPNs work in the ECF instead. LPNs were targeted due to what management thought as LPNs were limited in their scope of practice in the acute care setting, so the management decided that they would not be needed on the Acute Care Units any longer. All LPNs employed in the hospital would be transferred in doing duties in the ECD. The only downfall on leadership for the Medical Unit was getting backfill for the LPNs that were being transferred off the floor.

Some of the services they offered to do was blood pressure checks, vision checks, dental checkups and dental work, diabetes screenings, chiropractic, family counseling and health education all free of charge. The year I volunteered about 800 people came to the event seeking medical assistance but what struck me more by surprise was how how some of the member's in my community didn't know why it was so important to get regular routine health checkups. Some of those who did, just didn't go because of the fact that they were uninsured and it would cost them money that they didn't have or were just not able to afford. During High School my senior year I also went through a program offered by ROP to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. When I graduated I received my cerfification and started working since the age of 18 in the City of Indio right next to
By going with the star topology to corporate servers to hold all of the stores data and licenses for each software that hey own a simple tape drive will allow the Bead Bar to backup all main stream data and anything else located on the corporate servers. The fastest way to monitor what needs to change with any set up is to ask the end user what they like and don’t like and see what can be changed from there. Even considering the fact that end users don’t like new systems to begin with due mainly to the fact that change is bad if you don’t use the system personally all you have are an error logs which help you fix problems that have been resolved already and make fixes to a possibly broken

Others use servers that are based remotely and accessed via a private network or a secure internet connection.
