Specifically, the paper will explore all aspect of the company. This includes the business function, executive structure and the company's objectives and goals. The paper will also detail the operative areas within the business, as well as the production, operations, finance, and management teams. The Coca-Cola Company, founded in 1886, is the world’s largest and leading manufacturing beverage company, marketer and distributor of non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups. It currently operates in over 200 countries worldwide and is most famous for the innovative soft drink, Coca Cola. The company can also now boast in the region of 230 different brands (www.coca-cola.com). The Annual Report expresses that the company owns or licenses and markets more than 500 nonalcoholic beverage brands, primarily sparkling beverages but also a variety of still beverages such as waters, enhanced waters, juices and juice drinks, ready-to-drink teas and coffees, and energy and sports drinks. Coca Cola also owns and markets four of the world’s top five nonalcoholic sparkling beverage brands: Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite. The mission statement of Coca Cola projects states that the company strives to refresh the world, inspire moments of optimism and happiness, create value and make a difference. The business strives to refresh the world through its vision to achieve sustainable, quality growth by creating a great atmosphere for employees to work.
